N-Back

Letters appear one at a time. Press MATCH whenever the current letter is the same as the one N steps earlier. Clear a round cleanly and N goes up — the working-memory load rises with it.

How to play

  1. 1Letters appear one at a time in the centre.
  2. 2Press MATCH (or the spacebar) when the letter repeats one from N steps back.
  3. 3A clean round raises N; two missed rounds end the run.
